Job Description
Strategy Consultant, Workstream Ownership, Qualitative Research, AI Prototyping
A Strategy Consultant opportunity has opened up at a fast-growing specialist consultancy working with some of the world’s most prominent technology businesses. This is a role where your thinking directly shapes how major companies invest, compete, and grow — and where the quality of your work is felt at the highest levels. Could this be the next move that genuinely changes the pace of your career?
The Role
The Strategy Consultant will take ownership of a research workstream, from scoping tasks and managing dependencies through to forming a clear point of view and building recommendations clients can act on. You will develop research materials, conduct qualitative interviews, interrogate both qualitative and quantitative evidence, and translate real complexity into well-visualised, compelling outputs. Presenting findings to clients, supporting junior colleagues, and contributing to proposals are all part of the picture as the business grows.
Beyond project delivery, the Strategy Consultant will play a hands-on role in developing and testing AI-enabled tools and prototypes, checking their outputs against evidence and turning lessons from client engagements into repeatable processes the wider team can build on.
The Company
This is a chance to join an established but rapidly expanding consultancy operating at the intersection of human insight and commercial judgement. Working with global technology clients across both B2B and B2C markets, the business helps leadership teams make sharper decisions on what to build, how to price it, and how to take it to market. The team is deliberately small and high-calibre, with founders who are actively invested in mentoring and developing the people around them.
What experience does the Strategy Consultant need?
- At least three years in management consultancy, strategic research, or a closely related discipline, with a strong record of owning and delivering workstreams end-to-end, keeping delivery within agreed hours and deadlines, and flagging risks early enough for the team to respond.
- Solid qualitative and quantitative research capability, including turning a brief into discussion guides, screeners, and survey questions, conducting confident senior-level interviews, following productive lines of enquiry, and drawing evidence-based conclusions that are commercially grounded and clearly argued.
- The ability to produce polished, clearly structured outputs in presentation and spreadsheet tools, test patterns and contradictions in the evidence, and communicate complex thinking to varied audiences including clients — knowing when to involve a senior colleague.
- Practical experience building AI-assisted tools, dashboards, or workflows, with the ability to explain the problem they were designed to solve, how the results were checked, and how the process was made repeatable for colleagues. Coding ability is a welcome bonus.
Benefits
- Bonus scheme that typically delivers 20 to 30 percent of salary in a strong year, rising to 40 to 50 percent for exceptional individual performance.
- Employee equity participation offering the potential for annual dividends, giving you a direct share in the value you help create.
- Hybrid working pattern with flexibility, private medical insurance, company pension, and a dedicated learning budget covering specialist training and the latest AI tools and platforms.
- 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off, with direct mentoring from the founders throughout your time at the business.
