The role 
My client, an innovative Med-tech organisation are seeking a bright and talented Infosec Analyst / Information Security Analyst to join their team on a hybrid working basis, visiting the Cambridge office. The successful candidate will operate in a standalone position, but work within a small technical team, in-order to support in areas of information security, such as:

  • Creation and development of policies and procedures
  • Creation and development of disaster recovery plans
  • Upkeep and support of the internal QMS

Further to this, the Infosec Analyst / Information Security Analyst will provide adhoc support to the onboarding process of new employees and as well as provide support around access and permissions as required.

You will be someone who doesn’t shy away from a challenge but embraces it instead, and as well as having these softer skills, the successful Infosec Analyst / Information Security Analyst will ideally have: 

  • Prior commercial experience as an Information Security Analyst / Infosec
  • Prior experience working with a QMS (Quality Management System)
  • Experience developing security Policies & procedures and disaster recovery plans
  • Experience of general IT support 
  • Prior experience / understanding of networking and experience within a MedTech organisation or the NHS is also highly desirable but not essential

IT Assistant

Support Analyst, Service Desk, 1st / 2nd line, Desktop Support

If you are a keen, enthusiastic and personable Support Analyst or Service Desk Analyst looking for a varied role within a dynamic SME environment, then this is a newly-created opportunity to join a highly-successful, healthcare-focused charity.

Whilst the position is offered on a predominantly remote basis, you will need to be willing and able to travel to the Oxford office as and when required, but not normally more than once a fortnight.

The Role

In a highly-varied and responsible role, the Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst will provide a true support service to approximately 50 users, working both onsite in a state of the art facility on one of Oxford’s leading business parks, and remotely.  With the support of an outsourced support company, the Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst will be the first port of call for all users, covering 1st and 2nd line issues – predominantly desktop – whilst also setting up new users, and building and configuring both PCs and laptops, as well as getting involved in some interesting and varied project work.

This position would suit an energetic, enthusiastic, technically curious Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst, with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, coupled with a “can-do” attitude!

What do I need?

  • Active Directory – new user creation / account administration, etc.

For this DevOps Engineer, we are ideally looking for:

  • Great knowledge of DevOps methods, solid experience with CI/CD, and experience with automation tools such as Jenkins
  • A comprehensive understanding of AWS
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, plus of languages such as Python, C, Simulink/MATLAB and/or REST
