Technical Project Manager

Back To Job Board

This is the perfect time for an experienced Technical Project Manager or Digital Project Manager to join an internationally trusted source of medical news and education to the healthcare professional community, as they embark on a period of technical growth and transformation
.

What will I be doing?
Providing readily accessible content via a range of subject-specific websites and digital platforms, this is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a growing and vibrant digital publishing team, who have a special focus on video and other rich media news and learning content for healthcare professionals and related audiences.

Development to-date has been carried out via a third party partner, but with ambitious growth plans for 2023 and beyond that rely on the successful delivery of a number of agreed technical projects, my client has decided that it is the right time to bring development in-house as part of a growing team. You will therefore be responsible for managing a number of concurrent platform and software build projects through to delivery, collaborating with and coordinating internal stakeholders and teams (editorial, design, partnerships and development), as well as liaising with the external agency.

About the company
Established 5 years ago to meet a growing need for independent expert advice and cutting-edge research directly from international thought leaders, my client has grown rapidly to establish themselves as a trusted global leader in this field. Their close-knit team work remotely, but with collaboration hubs currently in London, Oxford, and Ipswich, they enjoy getting together monthly to explore and share ideas.

With a flexible approach to working and with excellent benefits and opportunities for career development and advancement, this really is an excellent time to join.

The ideal candidate will have…

  • Solid technical/digital project management experience, working on platform and software build projects, gained perhaps from within a digital agency, or other B2B environment
  • A passion for digital technology and an ability to communicate it to others in a clear and easily understood way.
  • Any experience of managing projects relating to the delivery of video content and other media would be looked upon favourably
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders, partners, and development teams
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set, with experience of delivering new services, features and innovations would be advantageous
