A Microsoft Gold Partner in Central Oxford requires a Software Implementation Manager with a strong technical background, to oversee a dedicated team, responsible for the delivery of their software products to a range of private and public sector clients throughout the UK.

What will I be doing?
As the Software Implementation Manager, your role will be split between managing the team and the work produced by them, and taking control of a number of implementation projects yourself. The technology used is primarily Microsoft SQL Server, with software being deployed onto Windows servers into IIS and the team is responsible for not only deployments, but also upgrades and migrations, as well as architecting, building and monitoring hosted environments. The Software Implementation Manager will ensure the team are trained and supported, and will serve as a point of escalation. Other activities will involve coordinating user testing and penetration testing, whilst also ensuring adherence to process and quality

The ideal candidate will have…

  • Solid software implementation experience
  • Some previous experience of leading and mentoring others
  • Strong SQL Server database administration skills
  • A basic understanding of networking, ideally coupled with Windows server/IIS knowledge
  • Experience with Azure would be an advantage
