My client a pioneering organisation at the forefront of ecommerce, is in urgent need of a technically curious Software Engineer with excellent AWS experience to join their small technical team, as they fully embrace event driven architecture and look to rebuild their systems from the ground up!

What will I be doing?

Joining an exceptionally talented team of Engineers, you will be expected to bring fresh ideas to the table joining a company that values technical curiosity and embraces change! You will a real say in the future direction of the organisation, taking a holistic view of development and focussing on best practises and the right technologies before starting product development.

This position will suit a Software Engineer who is keen to work with modern technology in a challenging technical environment. You will be working end-to-end on Greenfield development, working with a variety of technologies including; JavaScript, AWS, Lambda, DynamoDB and much more!

The ideal candidate will have…

The Software Engineer will not only have a broad range of technical skills, but with evidence of fresh ideas/thinking and a passion for innovation. Whilst you’re likely to have excellent technical knowledge across a broad range of technologies, key areas for the Polyglot Software Engineer include:

  • AWS Cloud (including Lambdas and DynamoDB)
  • JavaScript
  • Microservices
  • Infrastructure as code
  • Event driven architecture
