What will I be doing?

You will work with Cloud-based technology in order to plan and deliver innovative solutions within the educational sector. You will work to contribute to the delivery and migration of new and existing pages written in React, across enterprise level applications..

About the company

As the successful PHP Developer in this post, you will be joining an established education focussed technology company who develop and deliver cloud-based software to Ministries and exam boards around the world. The PHP Developer will be part of a wider group whose client base are spread across 20 countries.

As the successful candidate you will be joining a fun and inclusive team, and will enjoy have the opportunity to take part in a range of team building activities including a Quiz of the year, whilst benefiting from a dynamic yet remote set-up.

The ideal candidate will have…

• Proven commercial experience working on enterprise level applications.
• Extensive experience using PHP with a strong understanding of OO Design patterns.
• Strong experience working with MVC framework such as Symfony, Yii, Zend or Laravel.
• A solid understanding of JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React or AngularJS.
• Experience or willingness to work within an Agile environment.
• An understanding of the LAMP stack and NoSQL databases – Ideally MongoDB
