QA Engineer

A QA Engineer / Software Tester is required to join an established software house in South Oxfordshire, who are currently going through an impressive period of growth. This is an exciting opportunity for you to gain excellent training and establish their career in automated testing.

The Role

You will be working in a mixed manual and automated environment, so you will be working with both moving forwards, creating test plans and test cases from scratch. It’s an Agile environment, working closely with the in-house development team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a Senior Test Analyst to train in automation tools and progress your career!

The Company

You will be joining a software house that develop a variety of market-leading software applications and mobile. Coming in at an exciting time with new projects planned, this is a great time for a you to join! There’s very much a start-up feel to the company, so previous experience working in a small company going through a period of growth would be beneficial for this role.

What’s Required?
The main things we’re looking for from you in this role is:

• Experience with manual and automated testing
• Experience with automated tools such as Selenium
• Experience gained within an Agile environment, ideally with Agile tools including Confluence/Jira

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience of writing and executing test scripts.
• Ideally, experience of mobile testing as well as web – both iOS and Android
