PHP Web Developer

The Role

My client is looking for a PHP Web Developer with proven experience creating applications or websites.  The successful PHP Web Developer will have passion and an enthusiasm to learn and work with the latest technologies! In return, the successful PHP Web Developer will get the chance to work on exciting and varied projects, with a growing and impressive client base.

In your role as the PHP Web Developer, you will get to work with great technologies, such as PHP frameworks including Laravel, JavaScript frameworks such as Bootstrap JS and AngularJS, and CMS technologies such as WordPress, Drupal and Magento. You will be working on a range of projects, including a mixture of websites and web applications development and also have a chance to liaise with clients in order to troubleshoot their website issues.

The Company

My client is a growing Digital Agency, developing both websites and applications (including mobile) for a range of well-known brands.  They have strong plans for growth over the next few years and pride themselves on providing high-quality, innovative websites and applications for their clients, utilising cutting-edge technologies to do so.

As well as the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and broaden your technical knowledge, my client is able to offer the successful PHP Web Developer a generous basic salary of £30,000 – £50,000 plus pension and healthcare benefits.  Their offices are easily commutable (just off the M4), but not by public transport, so you will need to have a car and driving licence in order to get there.

What do I need?

The ideal PHP Web Developer will already have a grounding in developing websites using PHP. Experience with JavaScript and other front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS is also highly desired, plus experience with a CMS. In addition, it would be greatly advantageous if the PHP Web Developer had experience with PHP and JavaScript frameworks, such as Laravel, Symphony,  Bootstrap JS and AngularJS, although this experience is in no way essential!

• Previous development experience with PHP

• Experience developing in JavaScript, HTML and CSS

• Experience with CMS such as WordPress or Drupal

• Any experience with PHP or JavaScript frameworks such as Laravel, Symphony, Bootstap JS and AngularJS will be highly advantageous, but not essential
