A Medical Device Engineer with experience developing both hardware and software is required to join an incredible R&D company based in Oxford. You will be working on a ground-breaking product being used in the treatment of cancer.
What will I be doing?
As the Medical Device Engineer you will be working to design and develop both the hardware and software on my client’s ultrasound based device. You will be joining a small team where you will get to have a real impact on a life-saving product.
On the hardware side, you will be working with FPGAs, microcontrollers, and microprocessors, as well as being involved in PCB design. For the software, you’ll be working mainly with OO languages like C++, C#, and Java, as well as Matlab, Python, and R
About the company
You will be joining at an exciting time. With the prototype established and running, the challenge now revolves around creating a commercially viable finished product that will be used in hospitals. That doesn’t mean the fun part’s over…there are a lot of interesting projects for you to be involved in – and huge financial funding to back this up!
