We’re currently seeking a talented Medical Device Engineer to join a leading and rapidly growing MedTech organisation based-in Cambridge.

As the successful Medical Device Engineer, you will join a talented in-house team of multi-disciplinary Engineers from Product Design & Mechanical through to Software and Embedded Engineers; contributing to the development of both the existing product and new product development.

The ideal candidate will have…

  • A degree within a relevant field such as Mechanical, Product or Biomedical Engineering
  • A sound understanding of the full product development lifecycle from engineering calculations to prototyping, testing and design
  • Prior knowledge of a range of CAD tools – ideally with experience of 3D CAD tools, Creo or ProE being a particular advantage
  • A fast learner with a can-do attitude
  • Outstanding attention to detail with strong analysis and numerical skills
  • Experience within a relevant scientific R&D / Medical Environment is also highly desirable as well as specific experience of Medical Devices or IVD
  • An understanding of electrical & manufacturing techniques is also beneficial
