An exciting position has come up in a rapidly growing scientific R&D / Med-Tech organisation for a Laboratory Manager based-in Oxford, supporting a multi-disciplinary team of molecular discovery scientists and engineers. The successful Laboratory Manager will Support and manage existing Lab technicians and researchers, as well as be responsible for:

  • Maintaining, calibrating and verifying equipment
  • Supporting scientists alongside their experiments
  • The upkeep of reporting and documentation as required in order to maintain seamless and smooth operations

The ideal candidate will have…

  • Have proven experience within a lab environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as proficiency in IT
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience specifically working as a Lab Manager within a commercial environment is beneficial
  • Prior experience within the field of Molecular Diagnostics, IVD, Life sciences or Medical Devices is also highly advantageous
