An Infrastructure Project Manager / IT Project Manager is required to join a leading Scientific R&D organisation, based-in Oxford.

The successful Infrastructure Project Manager / IT Project Manager will be joining a highly technical company, working within the IT Services team, contributing to large-scale and varied projects across organisational Infrastructure. Whilst this organisation are based-in Oxford, the successful Project Manager will have the benefit of flexible working with the possibility of remote working up to 3 days per week! This Infrastructure Project Manager / IT Project Manager position would be suitable for a hands-on Project Manager with a proven technical background and sound technical abilities.

What will I be doing?
This is an internal Infrastructure Project Manager / IT Project Manager position, and will see the successful candidate triage the IT Services team, ensuring high-quality project delivery on a range of projects, from On-premise migrations to entire office moves. It’s a fast-paced environment which will see the Infrastructure Project Manager / IT Project Manager will face interesting and varied challenges, You will:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers & end-users
  • Create and deliver project work-plans, gathering requirements and taking ownership from end-to-end including planning and execution
  • Work across multiple projects both business and digital to drive them forward

The ideal candidate will have…

  • A proven track record delivering IT Infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle
  • A technical background – ideally through commercial experience as an Infrastructure engineer
  • Strong experience dealing with a range of stakeholders & suppliers
  • Excellent written & verbal, communication skills and good organisation & prioritisation
