This is a great time for either an experienced or aspiring DevOps Engineer to join an innovative, Oxford-based medical technology firm, as they continue on their impressive growth path.

Excellent benefits including share options are available, as well as flexible hours and some working from home.

What will I be doing?
You will work to further optimize and increase reliability of my client’s infrastructure, as well as automating tooling support for the product release process for a highly-intelligent FDA-approved Software as Medical Device (SaMD) solution that provides artificial intelligence-driven diagnoses using clinical images.

You will also manage cloud service operations, ensuring cloud production systems are up and running, with processes and alert systems to manage down time.

About the company
Our client is a leading company within the med-tech sector, doing ground-breaking work in the field of medical image diagnostics. Having recently cleared FDA approval, now is an excellent time to join, as they push for further growth.

The ideal candidate will have…

  • Practical Infrastructure as Code experience, with a preference for Ansible
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud provider. Azure is preferred, but my client’s environment also encompasses both AWS and GCP
  • Proven coding ability (Python, Bash, Scala, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Strong Linux skills, including confidence using Linux command line
  • Good knowledge of containerization – both Docker and Podman are used currently
