My client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic BI Developer to join their team on a part remote basis, based-in Wiltshire.

What will I be doing?
The successful BI Developer will have a broad skill-set and will not only assist in the development and maintenance of BI Solutions for a global database and a data warehouse, but will also lend their technical expertise in order to drive the business forward, by optimising the use of data analyses and provide key insights into the positive impact the business achieves on an international basis. You will join a growing team who are truly making a difference. You will assist in undergo a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Analysing and setting out business requirements & translating these into technical specifications
  • Lead in the development, maintenance and deployment of BI software & tools
  • Contribute to the development of data warehouse and ETL tools
  • Contribute to the analysis and creation of documentation

The ideal candidate will have…

  • Prior commercial experience as a BI Developer working with a range of BI tools including knowledge or experience of PowerBI custom development
  • Experience of data warehouse design & data mining
  • Sound knowledge of SQL is essential with knowledge of PostgreSQL being an advantageous
  • Sound experience of database management systems
  • Proven experience of ETL frameworks and OLAP
  • Experience of PHP as well as an understanding of web GIS would be beneficial
  • Experience with Google Data Studio, Google Bigquery or other BI platforms is also advantageous
