PHP Developer, API, REST APIs, SQL, PostgreSQL, Remote Working
Joining this established and highly successful company just outside of Aylesbury, with opportunities for remote working, the PHP Developer role is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with excellent experience with creating APIs, looking to join a company who make a real difference.
The Role
Dealing with enormous amounts of data daily, both collecting this from a variety of sources and providing it to their client base, the PHP Developer will need great experience with crafting APIs in order to both maintain and improve what our client can offer.
Joining a driven and friendly team, and with their work being reliant on APIs to import and export vital data, the PHP Developer has an excellent opportunity to have a real impact on our client’s success.

What’s Required?
For the PHP Developer, we are ideally looking for:
- Solid experience of programming in PHP, and the ability to work from version 5 to version 8
- Strong experience creating REST APIs for large amounts of data
- Significant experience with SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB and/or MySQL
- Prior experience with Linux
- A passionate team player and experience with any of the following would be highly advantageous: API Gateways, Python, Node, NoSQL, Docker, Jenkins/Ansible, GitHub, JIRA
