This is a great opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level Network Engineer keen to focus on Network Security, to join an innovative Basingstoke-based Managed Service Provider at the forefront of technology. An enquiring mind partnered with a passion for troubleshooting/problem-solving networking / security / firewall issues is required, as the successful Network Engineer will be working in a talented team of Engineers to deliver customer-facing network solutions.
The successful Network Engineer will be able to work from home for up to 4 days a week.

What does the Network Security Engineer need?
The successful Network Engineer should have gained solid support experience, with knowledge of general networking – routers/switches – CCNA preferred
Some experience of supporting and troubleshooting firewalls – my client primarily focuses on Palo-Alto and Forcepoint firewalls, but also has Cisco ASAs, Stormshields, Sophos and Watchguard firewalls that they support
Customer-facing support experience – especially from an MSP or ISP – would be highly-beneficial
