Support Engineer, Technical Support Analyst, API, XML, Remote Options

A Support Engineer / Technical Support Analyst is urgently needed to join a leading technology company based in Oxford, working primarily on a remote basis but with the need to visit the office just once a month.

 

The Role

As the Support Engineer, Technical Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service whilst supporting and maintaining API based products.

Providing an excellent customer support on 1st and 2nd line tickets, as well as utilising XML to identify errors with API command responses and developing SQL code to perform data queries; the Support Engineer / Technical Support Analyst promises to be an interesting and varied role.

What’s Required?

For this Support Engineer / Technical Support Analyst position we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a variety of troubleshooting responsibilities such as analysing system log files, interrogating databases, and the ability to interpret Extensible Markup Language
  • Prior experience supporting API based products, with previous experience utilising XML
  • The ability to write and develop SQL code in order to perform data queries
  • Any experience with the following technologies would be a plus: RESTful API, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Bitbucket, SQL, C#, JavaScript, .NET, Azure, Google Docs, Office 365
  • Great communication skills with the ability to provide an excellent customer service
