Support Engineer, 3rd line, O365, Cloud, Windows

My client is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Support Engineer / 3rd line support analyst  to join their innovative team. The successful Support Engineer / 3rd line support analyst will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of duties supporting national and international operations, on everything from server & desktop to network support.
 

Responsibilities for the successful Support Engineer / 3rd line support analyst 

Within this role you will be joining a small in house team of technical staff. The successful Support Engineer / 3rd line support analyst will provide 3rd line support across IT Infrastructure; on both a remote and in-house basis; nationally and internationally, undergoing activities such as: Group Policy administration, hardware and software resolution, general connectivity issues and similar.

What’s required? 

The successful Support Engineer / 3rd line support analyst will be an all-rounder with a breadth of knowledge across the board. Specific skills and experience required in this role would involve: 

  • Strong experience of 3rd line IT support
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with non-technical members. 
  • A strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products, including Office 365 and Active Directory, as well as an understanding of cloud tech – AWS & Azure preferred
  • A good knowledge of a range of operating systems e.g. Windows, Android and Mac. 
  • An understanding or experience of networking e.g. routing, switching and firewalls
