Software Engineer, C++, Python, Git, Kubernetes


I’m looking for a Software Engineer / C++ Developer to join an exciting Scientific R&D company based-in Oxford! This Software Engineer / C++ Developer role will be well suited to a skilled Software Engineer with prior commercial experience, looking to further develop their career in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment! 

The Role

The Software Engineer / C++ Developer will work closely a wide range of groups and departments within the business, in-order to create clean, reusable, high-quality code, which powers the UI of a range of products; supporting this organisation in the development of industry-leading devices!

What’s Required?

For this Software Engineer / C++ Developer position we’re looking for: 

  • A relevant degree, ideally in an IT related discipline or commercial experience
  • Proven commercial experience of C++ development – Further experience of Python scripting is also ideal
  • Experience developing GPUs
  • Experience of relevant C++ libraries including but not limited to: HDF, GSL & Boost
  • Sound experience / the ability to conduct Unity testing and peer code-reviews
  • Experience of Continuous integration is also highly beneficial
