We use our knowledge and expertise, to understand not just the daily duties and responsibilities of the job vacancy, but the core aims of the position and the team dynamic. We’ll consider where candidates may be currently and their likely background. We’ll also discuss the options open for training, development and future development. This information is then used to identify a candidate that can not only fill the role, but who will go on to be a long-term hire.
As well as traditional avenues, such as advertising and database searching, each of our Consultants has undertaken certification offered by one of the industry’s most innovative thought leaders. This provides training to source candidates through channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google+, together with best practice for approaching and engaging candidates. Where required/requested, our Consultants also have the necessary training and experience to map out and execute successful head-hunting campaigns for roles across the digital sector.
Once a potential candidate has been identified and engaged with, a telephone screening follows, before an in-person interview is conducted. We follow an uncomplicated interview structure and also take a copy of the candidate’s passport/ID to validate both their identity and that they have the right to work in the UK. Where appropriate, we use a leading online test provider to create and administer a test of an agreed length and level of difficulty, to cover the key technologies or skills that your position requires.
Following the conclusion of the assessment stage, those candidates deemed most suitable will be presented to you. Each candidate will be represented by a current CV, their test results, and a written summary of the 1st interview. A typical Corriculo shortlist will comprise of between 3 and 5 candidates that we feel are suitable for your job vacancy.
Once the offer has been agreed and accepted, we monitor the receipt and acceptance of the contract, together with the candidate’s resignation. We will provide honest advice to both candidate and client at this stage, ensuring that all parties are happy with the deal on the table. We will provide clear communication and guidance towards a successful resolution.
Once all have agreed, we ensure precise due-diligence is completed. We gather employment references and submit to you for review. Once the candidate has started, we support them through their first few months. We address and concerns and, if appropriate, escalated to you. Many long-term hires have been achieved, in spite of early “wobbles”, through management of the on-boarding process and beyond.
